“The illustrations are the highlight of the book.. they encapsulate the heart of Ian’s prose.”
— Marten Julian, ‘The Long Road From Portman Square’ by Ian Carnaby
“I commissioned Will to illustrate the cover of my first published fantasy novel.
I was very happy with the final picture, it evoked all the feelings I wanted it to, and the line work of the piece was fantastic.”
— D.C.Priest, ‘A Traveller In The Narrow’
“A fantastic piece on commission. Will was very helpful in scaling up a work we liked which he was exhibiting at a fair. Will kept us well informed as to progress throughout and was great to work with.”

“The Exhibitionist Gallery cafe and events centre was host to William’s Art work exclusivley for 2 months in the Summer of 2020.
William filled the space beautifully and consequentially for that Summer, the cafe felt like it could be situated in a swanky New York suburb. William’s art work in this exhibition varied between dreamy acrylic painted lined landscapes to perfect pen drawings of characterful people and buildings.
The former style takes the observer(and I've seen this) directly to a familiar and comfortable essense within that landscape leaving them mesmerised for several minutes. The latter effect left people gaping in wonder at how a pen could achieve such detail and bring a building or a caricature into another realm.
William would probably say these artworks just happen with the fate of the paint, ruler or pen and action involved, but I think the finished products are perfectly brought about by instinct, this being in part due to the artists serenity and naturalness.
Accompanying the artworks were fun sculptures in clay and tastefully restored and decorated Wooden printing trays. Setting little scenes that propelled our imaginations once again.”
— Stella Robinson, The Exhibitionist Gallery

“We commissioned Will to create a 100 x 70 cm acrylic on canvas painting for us in September 2020. We said we didn’t like the colours orange and yellow much, but beyond that he could do what he liked. The resulting ‘Oil Rig’ is magnificent!
Clever and dramatic use of colour from white to black with sharp horizontal divisions and vertical interest.
It’s the focal point of the room and a talking point with guests.
Beautifully framed and affordable(for now!).”
